Now for the fine print: Steven Fales is an actor / writer / producer, best known for his autobiographical one-person plays (The Mormon Boy Trilogy), cabaret acts (Mormon American Princess, Songs of My People) and stand-up comedy (When All Else Fales). The Mormon Boy Trilogy includes Confessions of A Mormon Boy, Missionary Position, and Who's Your Daddy? and is meant to play in repertory like The Mormon Conquests! Each 90-minute show is a comprensive, epic exploration of what it is to be a gay Mormon American at the beginning of the Twenty-first Century. Missionary Position will premier at the New York International Fringe Festival (FringeNYC) summer 2010.

Fales is a self-professed Oxy-Mormon, Brokeback Mormon, Ethel Mormon, Greco-Mormon, Latter-gay Saint, Mormon White Trash, etc. and an award-winning playwright, author, public speaker, comedian, songwriter, and columnist. Called the "Mormon Augustin Burroughs" by the Boston Globe and considered by many to be "the gayest gay Mormon on earth", he's much more than a Chelsea boy or WeHo boy or one of those hot gay Mormon boys you may have seen on those Mormon's Exposed calendars.

Conservatives may think he's an anti-Mormon, but this faith-based, values-based Democrat and post Mormon (or transformin' Mormon) is a dedicated prodigal father and son, a returned missionary, and a recovering prostitute with a masters degree who advocates for sanity wherever it is needed. His poignant and humorous work has helped raise hundreds of thousands of dollars for charities including The Point Foundation. Brother Fales is a world traveler who grew up in Las Vegas and has paid dues from Manhattan to Miami, Palm Springs to Portland. He now lives in Salt Lake City, Utah near where he was born in BYU's Provo--making him Provolone! (Okay, bad joke!).
